Let me ask you a question : What does it mean by “clearing the table/desk”?
A - Return the book to its shelf, place the pens in the stationery container, throw unwanted papers into the rubbish bin, wash the used mug and send it back to the kitchen, etc… clear the desk/table till you can finally touch its surface with your bare hands and move them across from edge to edge.
B - Grab all the mess with your two hands, place them on the chair/bed/floor, use the table for what you need to do and finally transfer the former mess back to where it came from… the table OR leave it on the chair/bed/floor only to shift its place again when you need the chair/bed/floor.
C - ??? Never cleared a desk/table before.
Jel would go for B, I believe. Dad too. And I can’t understand why. It’s annoying when you’ve one or more type B at home coz you’d have no space to lay the dishes during mealtime, nowhere to sit and no place to walk from one end of the room to the other.
Geez…
Glad I haven’t come across type C if he/she even exists.
Hmm… Am I the odd one out to choose A?
I’m definitely a Type A like you - just ask Jel!

B, definitly B. When I need to use the table, I clear it and dump all my stuff on the bed or floor. When I need to sleep everything on the bed gets dumped on to the table or floor. Practical mah, as long as the space I need to use can be used.. can d lor…
