Final year has somewhat officially started today. Not quite officially, as the REAL final years (fooji and gang) have not quite finished yet, but well…its the beginning of the final year for us. Pardon my messed up sentences, I’m still in a sort of daze after attending all the briefings from morning until evening.
We’ll be having 8 blocks of posting, back to back, with only a short break somewhere mid-year and another break during Hari Raya. So I guess the whole year ahead will be work, study, stress, work, study, stress, work, study, die.
Prof L said, “As final year students, you will now act as junior housemen, and you will clerk the patients, write the case notes into the case files (no more writing on pieces of scrap paper stuffed into various pockets of our labcoats etc), writing prescription, performing minor procedures…blah blah blah…”
*sudah pengsan*
After 3 months of blissful electives, and a somewhat uneventful OMHS trip to Port Dickson, (I meant to blog about the silly project and trip but as the start of h-e-l-l was impending, I was in no mood to blog about anything much) my life has somewhat been reduced to a daily routine of sleep, eat and relax. Kickstarting this very much frozen brain of mine would thus need a lot of effort as well as a very high voltage of electricity.
SIGH…
…
..
.
Boo hoo hoo hoo hoo…..!!!!!!
Sounds fed-upish indeed.. but take heart, we’ll be with you till the end.
